"Swatches" of available patterns are shown below - these are simply examples, they can be done in any combination of colours. When ordering your letters, you may select as many patterns as you like - one pattern per letter, two or three complimentary patterns, or the same pattern for every letter.

 
You can also combine patterns; for example, you could add ladybugs to plaid or flowers over a stripe. Most can be done in multiple variations, and I welcome suggestions.
